From the title, you can guess this is my least favorite season...heat, humidity, sunburn and nothing to wear except “nothing” to keep cool.

I’m waiting impatiently for the fall leaves. Anyone else?

Me too!  I hate the humidity and the summers in the Southeast.  I want to smell fall in the air!

I haven't read through all of the replies but, no, I am absolutely not tired of summer!  I'm enjoying the longer days, the milder weather and all the flowers and wildlife.

Winter will be here soon enough (too soon) and that brings its own set of problems.

This has been a great summer, and I’m not ready for it to end.

Leaves are drying and falling at a very noticeable rate here in southern WV; rarely a day goes by without my husband commenting on the changes in our poplar tree.

We will start having cool mornings and warm days in early September, but the feel of summer will be gone before the official arrival of fall.   The thought of cool weather does not make me happy.

Summer is my least favorite season.  I like the early part of summer okay, but by this time of the year I am tired of the flowers, mowing, yard work, heat, humidity, and mosquitoes.  I even heard one of our sons remark that he was tired of summer and ready for it to be over.  I don't like to rush time at the stage of my life but I look forward to fall and cooler temps.

Tired of flowers? 😮

@ILTH yes the constant watering, weeding, dead heading.  I typically love flowers but I haven't had a good summer health wise and I'm tired.

@KentuckyWoman

I'm sorry. I hope things turn around for you soon, in regards to your health.

I am so ready for autumn. I feel the end of summer  now. I hear the cicadas humming ,and I see some break in the awful heat..I can't wait for Sept. I have always been this way

When the days start to shorten a bit, I feel like I come alive once again

I'm tired of the heat and humidity, but I dread the end of daylight savings time and shorter daylight hours. I look forward to some cooler fall weather, but I don't even want to think about winter weather and the holidays.....the never ending commercialism to buy more and decorate more.

I'm right there with you @Shanus .  Every May I think, "ah, five months until October!"  I'd be happy with 3 seasons as I've never been a fan of summer.

I'm not tired of it at all. I'm in the metro-DC area and today and the past couple of days have been especially gorgeous.  I hate for summer to end.

I agree!!  I'm in southeastern PA and the last few days have been SPECTACULAR!!!  We shut the AC off.  It's been in the 60s with a high of around 80 with NO humidity!  The heat is supposed to return this week though.

I love the farm fresh produce that is so abundant this time of year.  I also love the crisp weather in the fall along with all of the autumn holidays but hate winter!

ng from GeorgiaRe: REALLY TIRED OF SUMMER

Being from Georgia what else do I need say...IT IS SO HOT AND HUMID! You can't be outside and we are desperatly needing rain. This time of year is not fun.  Our water bill is throiugh the roof trying to keep our flowers and grass from dying.  I love the fall..We have  the University of Georgia 24 miles away and the area beams with Football Pride.  I love the colors of the leaves and can't wait to have a fire in the fireplace. Im sure everyone has their special seasonHeart

I can honestly say I have NEVER heard of anyone "hating Summer" until I began reading these boards! Everyone I know just loves Summer. Along with me! But I suppose its a regional thing. I live on a lake and we count the days until we can go swimming, boating, campfires, barbeques, going to morning walks, etc. I especially love the nice long days. Days are getting shorter now and "Winter is coming.". Ugh.
