So inactive over there, but I try to comment a few times a week. It's something to fall back on if/when we lose these boards. It seems odd that poster Melly doesn't even participate on something she created - like she doesn't think it's worth a rat's behind anymore.

I did join but am pretty much inactive.  Don't have the time to pay justice to two.  It does seem more confusing, will have to get used to it if these go away.

This doesn't surprise me one bit.  I was a mod there when it first stared up.  There was a lot of back stabbing  and nasty comments made by some of the mods, especially one in particular behind the scenes.

I didn't agree to that and said so.    I have noticed that the ProBoards mods still post on QVC, especially one mod who was especially ruthless.

The person who originally started the ProBoard QVC forum is a nice caring  lady.  I have nothing bad to say about her.  She did a lot of hard work over there.  My guess is that she doesn't want to confront the nasty mod, and is not happy about the state of things so she just avoids the boards whenever possible. This is speculation on my part.

It is also a whole lot of work that takes personal time away.  You don't get paid like the QVC mods do.

I have screen shots of the nasty comments made over there behind the curtains for my protection just in case the nasty mod accuses me of lying.

I read some posts on Proboards, but never post.  One thing I don't care for is the frequent bashing of the Q boards.  It's like some people constantly read the Q boards to find fault with them and then post over on Proboards.

@Carmie  I have no idea which of the mods you reference here, but just so you know, one of the mods left some time ago. I have no way of knowing, but it appears there was a parting of the ways when the others prevailed in changes they wanted to make to the boards. Things are a good bit less restrictive now and there are far fewer nastygrams sent out to members. Posters and moderators now seem to get along quite well most of the time and it feels much more like a collegial arrangement.

@patbz    That is how I feel. I know someday soon I will come here and these forums will be just GONE.  I am thankful that I have a forum to go to and enjoy sharing with posters here that go to the proboards too. Yes, an insurance policy of sorts!

@stevieb   Thanks for the update.  I closed my account after only a week or two after the boards were up and running and never went back.

One day when I tried to get into my account, I couldn't.  After about a week, I got back on.  When I explained what happened, I was told my services as a mod were no longer needed. Weird, huh?

I think this was for the best.  A lot of the things going on, went against my beliefs, especially the nasty grams.  When some people get into a position with a little power...watch out!

I don't like to confront " coworkers" but I can and will if I see something that isn't right.

I pray the mod who is gone is the nasty one.  The boards were a lot of work to set up and take a lot of time to keep it running.  I hope all is well over there.  It's just too bad when a person or two can ruin it for everyone.

I signed up when it was started, but found it confusing, small print, etc.  I guess I didn't understand how it works, etc.

Somewhere else, I recently stated that maybe (in the future, if necessary) I'll sign up/subscribe to FB with a nic name and none of my private information or real location.

Maybe I'll find a new Q Forums over there?

I check ProBoards every day.  In fact, that's where I saw that Carolyn and Dan had left.  I find it much more relaxing there.  Generally speaking, posters there don't attack other posters the way they do here.  So often a thread on this forum will go completely off topic because someone is busy castigating a poster for what they think rather than giving their opinion on the topic.

I still come here but not every day.
