Re: RAINY DAY IN ILLINIOS

[ Edited ]

It rained here pretty much all day yesterday. We needed it since we are in a drought. It's only rained here a few times so far this year?

It's supposed to rain again today & tomorrow. Raining now.

More coming to Illinois from all this rain we are having.

It's raining from Texas clear up to the Great Lakes.

We had 3 days of 50 mph wind gusts full of dust that started Mon with 2 nice days after that. Now we have 3 days of rain to wash away all that dust.

@Sakuya my brother, born in 1934 and now deceased, was highly allergic to peanuts. One chopped  nut in a cookie would blow up his face and send him to bed for a couple of days. So, it isn't just a "modern thing."

@Q-Checker  - thank goodness he was ok. Unfortunately, my granddaughter is off the charts allergic to tree nuts. Anything that may have the smallest iota of a nut sends her into anaphalaxis shock.

When she spends the summer here I am so very careful of what she can have. I travel with her EPI pens everywhere I go.

I have contacted manufacturers and carefully read all labels. Even though tree nuts might not be listed in the ingredients, the facility might have used nuts as some point and who knows how well the machines are cleaned.
