RAIN RAIN GO AWAY

[ Edited ]

Another rainy week with late day into evening storms. Some stores and restaurants, homes and streets stay flooded.

Everyone else in this awful weather stay safe.

We are actually supposed to have 3 dry days this week. We have had record rain this year. Flooding, streets closed, people struggling with the damage, etc.

Yesterday afternoon, the sun finally made a showing. I was so disappointed this morning to wake up and find my yard covered in water again. Praying that it'll ease up soon but forecasts are calling for rain through Wednesday. If a hurricane were to visit, I don't know where all that water would go. For the first time in my life and although I'm not in a flood plain, I'm considering getting flood insurance. I'll have to check into it and make sure what it covers. I've learned that there are lots of exclusions in all insurance policies.

We will take your rain!! We are in central NY and need the rain desperately.  It's been in the 90's and dry for two weeks and it's going to be the same this week.

We need it in SW PA too - no rain for over two weeks and it's been in the 80s/90s - so dry.

We went through that this spring and early summer.  Day after day of heavy rain.

Then it finally stopped and now we're drying out to the point of having wildfire warnings if we don't get any rain soon.

Feast or famine!

East central Pa. Had a lot of rain earlier in the summer and now nothing for a couple weeks. I think there's a slight chance on Wed. or Thurs. We need it, now, too.

We're just sizzling and hoping for rain. No possibility in the forecast.

Really surprised me with the rain today here in south NC.  All the forecasts originally said we were supposed to get sunshine for the first part of the week.
