Question about Poo-Pourri..does it (rop)

Does poo-pourri work if it's sprayed in the toilet a half hour to an hou before anyone..ahem.."goes" to the bathroom..? I realize it always shown to be used right before the person uses the toilet for #2, but, due to digestive and pther issues, sometimes the husband and I aren't able to always 'prepare' the toilet bowl with the pou-pourri before 'we go' #2..sometimes Mother Nature is so fast, it is all we can do to make it to the toilet on time..

So if I spray the pou-pourri ahead of time, in 'preparation'..will it still work if nobody actually 'goes #2 to the bathroom' until an hour after the poo-pourri was sprayed..? Asking in all seriousness..I know this stuff works, but we hope it can work for us in this manner..Thank you!!!

@msh8970 I don't know but it should work since it puts a layer on top of the water in the toilet.

There is a poo-pouri automatic deodorizer kit available on clearance from BB&B that you can activate when sitting on the toilet...you just wave your hand and it sprays for you.

......You look like I need a drink.....

Tried it a few years ago and returned it.

Don’t really know what all the hype is about quite frankly.

Just my opinion on the product.

That and the fact my family was like “spray before???”.

Sometimes you just really need to go!!

And, then any small kids - like their really going to use this ever???

If any gas is an issue, well ... useless for that.

Yes, it does. I like spraying BOTH before AND after & anytime as a freshen up spray just to keep the bathroom smelling nice & clean.

I agree, spray before if possible...if not, definitely after.

Works better than any plug in room deodorizer! Bathroom is fresh for hours. Also, helps to 'disengage' any 'remmants'. Bowl stays cleaner.

One of the BEST, silliest things I EVER bought from QVC.

I can definitely confirm that you can spray the inside of the toilet hours before and it still works.

My 92 year old mother was in the hospital last week. I stayed with her all day and night. I sprayed inside her toilet because she always had to "go" very, very quickly. I knew there would be no time to help her there, and manage to spray beforehand. Afterwards, I sprayed again so it would be ready the next time she had to go.

Worked like a charm!
