I have always preferred lighter weight clothing, and have never had a winter wardrobe, so no seasonal switching for me. I have one sweatshirt, no sweaters and no long sleeve shirts.

I have a walk in closet and not a whole lot of clothes so I never have to put away seasonal clothes. My biggest challenge now is I have several sizes because of unintentional weight loss from stomach issues. So I don't want to get rid of my normal size. None of my summer clothes fit from last year(and it isn't a lot)
With working I wear my pants until they wear out.

I hope I don't gain much back. I have scoliosis and arithitis of the back which revealed itself after I fell down our bedroom steps
I went to a pain mgmt dr today and am in physical therapy.

Oh my, you are in a lot of pain then. I'm so sorry to hear this news. There isn't a thing they can do for adult scoliosis either. I hope you were able to find a good pain management Dr. Unfortunately, they're incredibly difficult to locate anymore . For some diseases and conditions like yours, some kind of medication has to be given in conjunction with other treatments or the pain can get out of hand at times.
I was told that I'd had it in childhood, but it must've not been checked. Of course, as your body grows it just becomes worse.
I've been to physical therapy before. Make sure to tell them that massage helps. Also be sure to ask for the tens and infrared treatment. I know those things are all more for muscle injuries, but they're the only things that gave me any relief.
I hope you're able to get into physical therapy quickly. You may also want to ask your Dr about Lidocaine patches. They make prescription ones that cover large area of the body. I think they help some. In the meantime, I'll pray for you to feel better.
Please let me know how it goes.❤️❤️❤️

Many thanks, Lidocaine patches may be an option; that's exciting!
I just looked the pads up; at 4% they may not be enough for me. Unmedicated, my pain is 8 on a 10 pt scale. There may be a prescription strength, ya never know!

There are indeed prescription lidocaine patches; my husband wears them. His are 5%, and he can apply 2, and wear for a specific amount of time.

Thank you. I wonder if my unmedicated pain level is too high to use them. I will certainly ask!
