It will take a while but I'm putting Fall/winter away and bringing Spring /summer out. I'm purging things that are too big or not my style anymore. Taking my time, trying things on because I want to do a thorough job this time around. Went through my shoes and boots this morning and got them down to just the ones I'm 100% certain I'll wear. I say I'm a fashionista and I am but I'm also addicted to shopping. I'm better than I was before retirement but I still have a way to go. I still buy too much stuff. I can't believe I'm saying this but after losing 70 pounds, I'm finding it hard to maintain my weight. I'm happy and healthy at a 14/16 but I'm still losing weight. I don't want next spring to come around and have to buy smaller clothes! I have to increase my calories incrementally until I'm maintaining my weight. It's crazy. Not something I ever had to think about before.

Hi, @chrystaltree ! I feel your pain! I've been at/below goal for 12 years on WW. As many "LifeTmers" I've spoken to have said, maintaining is the hardest part of the weight loss journey. It may take a while but I'm confident you'll find a balance to help you maintain the weight at which you are comfortable.
Congratulations on the weight loss!

I'm doing the same changeover from winter to summer clothing and shoes. Got much too much. I'm resolved to getting rid of stuff so that in the future it won't take so long to get organized. Wish me luck--LOL!!
When I did WW I kept losing for awhile after reaching and maintaining my goal weight. Getting older and less active has put those pounds and more back on!

I've been going through the seasonal purge. Took six trash bags alone of just clothes to Goodwill yesterday. But for some reason I've been holding off the shoe and boot purging. I think it's the thoughts of trying them all on.

I would like to go through my winter clothes but I may still need them. 80 degrees the other day, forecast is for a high of 37 on Sunday.

I'm going to preface this by saying that any weight is ok if you are happy but I am just curious...if you're still losing weight why don't you just keep it up and lose more if that's what your body is naturally doing with your new healthier habits?
I think if you're eating the correct foods in the correct amounts then your body is functioning correctly and losing more weight. There are some that believe we have a healthy "set weight" and maybe your body wants to be that...
Again, that just struck me and I was curious.....
Also, I'm forever purging and organizing my closet, it's a running joke with my husband....

I haven't done that job yet, perhaps this Saturday... For me, putting away Fall/Winter clothes is a chore as I have a lot more than Summer.
I need to purchase a few more summer dresses and skirts...
But again where I live Summer is much shorter of a season than Winter.....I still need to purge some Winter clothes as well. Still have some things that I haven't worn for a while.

Good luck with your closet purge and weight issues. Congratulations on losing 70 pounds!
My weight has fluctuated over the years due to health issues. I've been everything from a size 4 to a size 10. Right now I'm healthy and a bit heavier so I just bought a few new jeans and pants.
I also love shopping for new clothes even though I'm retired. I definitely buy too much. I'm constantly purging, donating, and selling items which speaks for itself. 🥴
All my clothes for all 4 seasons are stored in one small closet (not walk-in) and 2 dressers so I don't need to do the seasonal closet switch. I organize everything by garment type and color. My dresser drawers are organized by garment. For example, one drawer is long sleeve tees, one drawer short sleeve tees, etc. This really helps me keep track of everything I own and where it is located.
Hope You & Everyone here have a Great Day!

My closet is full of all different sizes..I learned the hard way. After losing 80 lbs. years ago..I got rid of all the larger clothes.Only to have gained a lot of the weight back and no clothes to wear.
I never put all my winter clothes away..There have been some "summers" up here that I needed a heavy sweatshirt or jacket..
