I also hope all is well and send prayers along with the rest of you. I hope she is finding people and organizations to help her. I donated some furniture last week, and hope and pray someone in my community will benefit from it. Sometimes people you never think would be in a situation like this need help from us.

I have been checking back here the last few days. I am praying for @sfnative, I hope she can check in soon and let us know how she is doing.

It's been over a week since we've heard anything from @sfnative. I hope and pray she's in a safe sanctuary far away from any physical or mental abuse. My prayers continue for true happiness and peace for her. (((Hugs)))

Hello Everyone,

I've taken a step back from my initial declaration, hugging all of your responses to my heart and mind. It was very generous of you to share - you simply cannot imagine. There was much considering to do and we had a weekend away with our daughter's family on the coast for my 70th birthday 2 weeks ago, followed by cataract surgery in one eye.

Right now I'm waiting for my husband to go on his weekend fishing trip with a friend. While he's gone, I'll be able to transfer a great deal of my belongings to my daughter's basement and have meaningful talks with her and my SIL. They are with me all the way.

It has been difficult to look for a place to live while he's here, so much effort has been confined to the internet. A great friend, who has many connections, is keeping an eye out for me.

I am a religious person, so am trusting in my efforts, my family and the blessings needed to make this happen.

As recommended, though I have yet to meet with an attorney, I know the one with whom I'll consult.

Thanks, again, to this wonderful community of loving and supporting women. My head is in a much better place now because of you. You're the best!
