Hello today, @Tissyanne (dear Gail)- how nice to find a sweet note from you with your blessings. I'm so thankful to hear that your condition continues to slowly improve. No telling how long you've had this hernia developing, and it only recently made itself known.
Yes, best to think of the new diet as an adventure! I'm betting you're creative enough to incorporate new, delicious and healthier ingredients in your recipes. You and your husband can support one another, and there's less opportunities to cheat, as I do at times (living alone). 😉 I tried to behave myself at Red Lobster on Sat, while dining with a friend. Had to have a little ranch dressing on my salad, though. Got broiled flounder, rather than fried- as I prefer it. Oh, those cheese biscuits.. brought two home and had one there. Passed up the cheesecake and key lime pie, and since I don't do this often.. I count it as an occasional treat.
God bless your dear brother for his honorable service in the Navy! Mine was in the Marines, then went back to mainly farming here in PA. He did do steel mill work, too, until most of those closed up. You speak of lots of rain in your state- same here! The farmers are having a terrible year all over and produce is naturally more expensive. I'm elated for you and your brother to soon be living close again. What a special thing it is to keep your parents' home in the family, too. ❤️ Precious memories to enjoy.
Thank you for your thoughtful condolences. Deeply appreciated. My Angela had just married the year before her diagnosis with aggressive ovarian cancer, which had metastasized. She and her husband were wanting children, and oddly enough, she suspected she was pregnant when she went for her exam. That was not to be and the nightmare began.. but I'm so grateful for having had her, my precious daughter, and I know some day, I'll see her again. Just as you will your dear parents.
Heaven bless you and enjoy your 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Tissy, -------------------- I definitely and totally understand.
I can say with my input that ninety percent of the people have Z E R O health knowledge `first hand; armchair advice.
And by the grace of God avoid all self indulgent BLAH- givers with an ( who knows) paper sporting any assistance.
Exception: Those with personal health issues, and like one poster said...one size does not fit all. Apparently, there are those knowing armchair pseudo inexperience ...unless from a wealth of knowledge teaching for YEARS at any one special TEACHING university, advanced in what you know-
I know-
of certain medications.
I said from the beginning that was a poorly professional decision removing you abruptly.
I have worked with some of the finest minds knowing exactly what your condition would fall under, and it's real as rain.
There are professional that can change the course of your life by expertise understanding.
You possibly (?) have had that since young, along with childbirth. A med merely addressing spasmodic muscle. The tight maxillary told me a lot after 5 months with out. Again, the physician that assessed you had good reasoning power in doing so.
From Jan to now, it was so unnecessary being put in this situation.
Since so many (and I am on alert), finding many followers chiming in where I am, or had been (on forums)- asking questions where I live, where am I from- tell me more about yourself, so I will not have an audience from the one forum / thread that I was told -she doesn't want to hear that) - from 20 months ago+ Several, a small % posters all of a sudden from around 6 months ago. I scored that immediately.
5cm hernia is large enough to be looking into and just dropped leaving you to fend for yourself until the next app't.
A hernia can & does expand, but not necessarily due to what any weight gain may present..it is a weak muscle lining having no support, apparently in your body, or from injury. Childbirth and carrying a baby can-may alter one's body.
You may had that possibly all your life as a young girl, especially after given birth, along with a non healthy diet.
Your physician dx'd what deemed necessary; that med to maintain the 'condition by' not to becoming spasmodic- pure and simple.
There was a darn good reason you were put on that 25 years ago. And, now you are (NOT) totally back to square 1, but the med in question would be highly successful to counter balance a physical and simple brain wiring condition.
Very poor reasoning I call a sloppy and not studied into your history. The physician had no professionalism to tell you herself / himself.
Again,
that's my truest observation from just reading. there are professionals that would change the course.
All of the flowering long wording...' be well ' is nice but with no assistance in advice to someone, it's a lost cause. Does you no good without some experience of their experience. People have a lot of time on their hands and want to meet and greet as if they know every nuance of your life for those last few months. I believe I first heard in November of 2017. Until June 06, 2018.
I am thrilled that the oral issue has completely left, if so?.
Physicians: Leaving you after all that you have been through...history not studied. Conclusion= poor.

@NAES1 ,
Thank you for your post yesterday. I appreciate your insight. You understand so much.
I have been gone all afternoon. Grocery store, and then putting the groceries away. I cooked dinner then, and just sat down Still have a few dishes to clean up.
We had landscapers at my brother's house, and they cut part of the sprinkler system.
Tomorrow evening someone is coming to fix it. We hope. We will have to be there to turn on the sprinkler system.
Anyway, just saying Hello.
