I bought several hundred at the beginning of July.  I send a lot of Christmas cards and I am just a card sender in general, birthdays, anniversaries, thinking of you.  It is just my thing.  I send cards with handwritten notes inside.  Just something I like doing and I like to think that people on the receiving end appreciate it.

Thanks for the heads up.  I wasn't aware of this.  I do still mail in some bills and send cards for  birthdays, Christmas, etc.

@Puppy Lips   We used to mail a lot for our business but  we have been emailing bills or send the bill with the customer when they pick up their order.  It can get expensive.

Thanks for the reminder, I love stamps and always try to get new ones when they come out, but why not save a little and buy now! I love to send cards and notes to the Grandkids, so I do buy a lot of stamps!

I do this also! I call it "my card ministry!" People always appreciate and look forward to my cards! I like for the stamps  to match the occasion. I'm wondereing how likely it would be  to get Christmas stamps now?

I had heard there was an increase coming but couldn't remember exactly when, so thank you for this post!  I will go soon and get some more of the forever stamps.

Thank you for reminding us. I will  be purchasing 100 stamps next week. I appreciate the fact that there are still those who care enough to send a card for special occassions or thinking of you cards. A kind gesture like that can really make someone's day.

I use A LOT of stamps; mailed 8 cards and notes this week, besides several bills.

I ordered stamps online about 2 weeks ago and am all set for about 2 years.

Thanks for the reminder. I will let my aunt know. She still mails everything, and although it's not a big increase, she is a frugal person and will want to purchase before it goes higher.

Re: Postage Rate Increase

Thanks for the heads up !

I just bought 2 books but I need to buy more.

I send out a lot of Birthday cards.

Bills I pay on-line.  I feel guilty doing that but I have been doing it for years.  I feel secure my payment made it to the payee.
