I enjoyed and appreciated your post and thread @Cakers3
Thank you both,

Thank you Butterfly123! I thought I had seen this done here but like some other tricks to the board I am not sure how to do this. You have been a great friend and I did want you to know the "short" version of our neighborhood issue.
Sometimes it is near impossable to understand how one feels until they are in a similar situation. Case in point; another couple only live here 6 months of the year. We noticed (they are 2 doors down) that their next door neighbor had a crew building a retention wall on our friend's property so we notified them.
The offenders didn't even notice that their HOA request to do the wall had been denied!!! They got a settlement but the "wall builders" now treat them like we are treated by the" tree planters." She said to me after they left a few weeks ago " I never understood what you both were feeling from the dirty looks, slammed doors, and worst of all the other neighbors taking sides even when they have no idea what really happened. It is very upsetting and I'm nervous and uncomfortable all the time!"
Some neighbors are hard to love.......
@butterfly123 Thank you

Some neighbors are hard to love. Sometimes we need to stay away from those who have ill intentions, treat us disrespectfully and cause feelings of unease.
I read and hearted the thread you started yesterday and thought the conversation taking place was pleasant. I’m happy you started the conversation and met some new posters.
Is there a place that you, Dennis and Scooter can go to for some relaxation and to get away from the neighborhood for a bit of time?
I hope today is peaceful, restful and relaxing for the three of you.
Sending love and prayers,
🦋

@butterfly123 My Dear,
What a lovely thought! We only take short day trips to Tombstone, Bisbee or Tucson for shopping or groceries. Scooter is a nervous dog and if we left her in a room she would cry and bark and they would surely ask us to leave
We have never boarded her and do not travel. I guess Dennis & I got it all out of our system with the many years of moving across country with the Army. It's painful to ride for me.
I would love to go back to Sedona, Scottsdale, and even Flagstaff but short of renting an RV I don't know how we would do it. Maybe that will work for us after we move and get settled but now we are saving everything we can for our closing costs. It would be great to just move to the new house we have picked out but we can not have 2 homes at once.
Thank you for sending us "peace" and we send it to everyone here!!!
It is so wonderful to come here and have a positive friend, thank you,
Cathy
