Prayers going up for @Jackhound Mom. 🙏 BTW, I am almost 57-y/o. Have lived in the Blue Ridge mountains of VA for most of my married life (nearly 36 years). We have 2 sons, 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren. 4 horses, 1 mule, 3 dogs and 1 cat. I'm also an avid bird lover and we enjoy all the wildlife in our area... Other than the occasional bears which do scare me. I work in the hospitality business, helping to manage a local resort and marina. Enjoy helping to plan weddings and other events there. Love volunteering with our church ~ mostly aiding homebound residents. Cooking, decorating, gardening, reading and crafting are some passions of mine. It's so nice to become acquainted with you! ❤️I'm just getting started here myself. Used to post to Gloria's daily threads a bit. Those were wonderful, too with so many friendships formed. I took a 2-year hiatus from these boards, but it's nice to return and find familiar friends and to meet new ones, too. Bless you and I hope you're feeling much better soon!
