I will close to be with my husband- soon tonight, but I wanted to tell with my 

 EACH FRIEND, HERE, ON Side Walk Cafe, I wish to say something my very WISE, mother always told me:

 Friends, good friends 'STICK together', and that IS what I would like to bring to this closing off of December 31, 2017.

    Sweet hugs and always a moral compass to lean on.

@NAES1, Happy 2018. I just now saw your message to me over here. I woke up to 11 degrees on Sunday morning, and snow falling. My husband had to go to work by early afternoon, so I watched some movies, and did a couple of laundry loads. It was a beautiful, but very cold day. I lit the fireplace, and it felt good. My kind of day. Amore stayed snuggled down in his new Christmas blanket from QVC. Sounds like you had a very similar day. Sashay sounds like a sweet little lady kitty.A little spoiled maybe?

My son just told me he is starving. It is 1:15 am. More later.
