    Everyone: In school we made a Valentine box, decorated with crepe paper and doilies. It had a slit on the top so we could put our Valentines in. Toward the end of the day someone would act as the mailman and deliver them to us.  
   We always had special treats. I recall heart shaped ice cream with strawberries.  Fond memories!

Dear @1Snickers,  We shared Valentine cards in school too.  We decorated our bags.  On Valentine's day, we went around and dropped our cards in our classroom student bags.  The room mothers provided us with Valentine refreshments and it was a really special day.  Wonderful memories!
