@Noel7 ~ No, I haven't purchased one ~ yet!!!  I like all three, and really like the idea of using them as serving dishes for a small luncheon.  I have a weakness for dishes.

Enjoy your pretty new plate!  :-)

Hi again @Julie928  Smiley Happy  I share your weakness for dishes!    And I do like the idea of using them as plates for a luncheon or dessert.

Re: Polish Stoneware on QVC This Morning

I love the look and the pieces of her stoneware. I called customer service and it does not appear to be the same manufacturer in Poland as the pieces I have been collecting. At least when she spelled it out for me it did not.  This pottery place is Ceramika Kalich. The pottery is beautiful however and it all probably goes together.

@Deanie Hi Deanie, Polish Pottery is made to be mixed and matched. All of the Polish Pottery is made in one town in Poland, Boleslawiec. I have Polish Pottery from many Factories in my house. They all go together so well because they are made the same way using the same colors. I really reccomed Ceramika Kalich.

Re: Polish Stoneware on QVC This Morning

These do seem to match back to - or blend in with - some very old pieces that have been passed down to me. Especially the pitcher.  I'm so overly cautious with these family heirlooms that I usually only display them. It would be nice to build on the collection with new pieces I'm not afraid to use with young children in the house.

I was working this morning, so missed the presentation. Thanks for mentioning it here, @Noel7. Love what I'm seeing, including the heart dish. I'm going to order the large cookie jar and I hope to pick up the 2 Viki bowls later. Those are new, so I hope they return if they sell out.

@Q-Anu  Oh, how lucky you are to have older pieces passed down to you!

One of the things I like best about PS is that, while I cherish them, my pieces are not family heirlooms and if one breaks, I won't be devastated.

I do have family heirlooms but I rarely take them out of a glass front hutch.  I can't wait to get the heart plate, knowing me, I might go back and get the other two, also.  I hope they come back with the basket that sold out.

Nice talking to you Smiley Happy

Re: Polish Stoneware on QVC This Morning

I was just admiring the fruit basket, @Noel7! Isn't that a thing of exquisite beauty? Too bad it's already gone.

The chicken reminds me so much of my great aunt who has now passed away, that I actually shed a few tears looking at it. She is the one (had no daughters) who passed several old pieces on to me that she had inherited. I think that's why it would destroy me, if any of those get broken. She was so precious to me.

So nice talking to you, too - I hope you get and enjoy the other heart dishes. What a sweet set that will be! We can return here later and rejoice in our new treasures! ❤️

Hi @Q-Anu

That chicken is so cute!  I totally understand how you feel about your legacy pieces, I feel the same way about my mother and grandmother’s beloved items.   You are so lucky to have pieces that meaningful 😊
