@Deanie

IMO Polmedia is a good company, I spoke with the owner a couple of years ago, he's very nice.  And their deliveries are pretty fast.

I still look, and I buy something from them every so often.

@KathT, thanks for the info on Galena.  This is one of the places where I plan to take cooking classes, so I definitely will be stopping in to see their Polish Pottery. They have a very nice display in the pictures.

@SXMGirl

I surprised to find Polish Pottery there, originally I went in to look for Robeez shoes for a grandchild. Where are you taking your cooking class?

Re: Polish Stoneware Collection

@KathT, I have taken classes in a number of cities, but I always seem to gravitate to Zingerman's in Ann Arbor.   Planning a trip soon for another Bake-Cation!

Re: Polish Stoneware Collection

@KathT, take a look at the classes.  Since I don't know where you live, you might be able to handle winter classes in Ann Arbor.  Every time that I go in November, it snows.  If you see a few classes that you like (I try to take a few classes when I go or even take a private baking class) and have no one to go with you, let me know.  It would be fun to meet some of the others on this board.

Polish Pottery made by Ceramika Artystyczna is what you're looking for.  Just do a Google search for this and you will find it.  This is the name of the factory that makes the Polish Stoneware that Gloria used to sell.  This is the brand name that it's sold under.  I have quite a few pieces, and the quality is wonderful.  Other brands that I've found don't compare.

Yes I agree that in my limited experience, there is no other brand of Polish Stoneware worth having but this one.

When Gloria was here, I bought maybe 6 bigger pieces and after she left, one piece from her website.

I did have a problem with a piece cracking in the oven, and she did replace the item after she verified it was indeed cracked.

This particular factory makes what I consider to be the best quality (I've looked at many others) and the best in artistry of any PS out there.

 And although I love the quality and the look of this line,I don't wish to have any more, as I find it too busy to set an entire table with the pieces, when I consider the rest of my kitchen and decor,and I really can't justify the money to put together what I would consider a complete kitchen with this line.

We go to a small lakeside town in Ohio (Vermilion) and they have a shop there that carries a lot of this brand, and I always look and drool over the beautiful pieces. I could easily get out of control but keep remembering I wouldn't have a single place to put it, or get enough use to justify anymore at this point in my life.

I wish I had found it and started the collection when I was in my 20's. I'd probably have a complete kitchen.

Gloria has been out of business for about four years.  You can purchase Ceramika A. From Blue Rose Pottery.  There is also a store in the phillie area that carries it--AmerHeritage.com.  Also a company in Texas, Polmedia.  Have all I would ever want.  Miss those shows and the nice people that purchased CA and frequented our forum.
