Re: Please Offer Help-Stalker

Shaunac:  I have an idea for you and others here.   Install one of those car cam video devices on your dashboard and also the interior rear of your car.   I've been worried about these various stalkers mentioned here, messing around with your cars.  This way, there will be a video of anyone who has been near your car.   They are fairly inexpensive, and are used as evidence in case of an accident that isn't our fault.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

@ROMARY

Thank you for the suggestion.

This is the second ex that I am dealing with that likes to "check" on me.  What is it with these people?

Looking 'way, way back', as a young woman, I used to attract very outgoing, possibly controlling people.   Seriously, even from across a (small) lake at a park.  My cousin and I would be sitting on the lawn, and 'low and behold', an outgoing man would get up from across the lake and wander over for a 'chat'.   Why?  Who knows.   It was a running joke from friends and family.  Something just 'draws' certain people to certain people who are just minding their own business.   It would make a good study/research.

Re: Please Offer Help-Stalker

You had to start a thread about this on a shopping channel forum seems strange and odd to me. I can not believe you would not know enough to get a restraining order or call the police. You have to come here to get advice ????

@apple1964

Have you never been in a dilemma & in your heart of hearts known what you should do but needed that push??

Someone in this situation may need someone to talk to & lean on. Maybe they are too embarrassed to talk to their friends or family or maybe they don't have any nearby.

How about having a little compassion - it is a HORRIBLE situation to be in. I know.

OH, please spare me ... I have been in a similar situation and knew what to do, So instead of going to the police she starts a thread on a shopping channel asking for help? And from strangers on a shopping channel forum... This is nonsense from a new poster who has a lot of time on her hands or wants attention negative attention. I think we have all been had!

Well, we don't know that for sure now do we?

I would rather take a risk at being "had" as you put it than to ignore someone who might genuinely be in need.

We all need someone to help us at some point.

@HouseMouse,  If you don't call the police and get a Restraining Order, you will live with him bothering you.  It's your choice.

I wonder if the OP will revisit the thread or take any of the advice or if this is even real, I have grown so sceptical of threads like this.

I left a similar post... I doubt she will back or this thread is real? .. I have read many threads like this and from posters with very little posts.  Another hit and run poster.Woman Indifferent
