I stayed up all last night watching the heavy clouds pass over. Maybe tonight, there will be a break, and I can watch the meteors.

Not much of a moon tonight so, for those who can see them, there should be a good show.

It's a bit cloudy here, but will give it a try. We have put out lawn chairs and watched the meteor showers before, and it was so relaxing and  a great family bonding time!  You see the magnificence of the Universe.

The weather people here in Colorado are caca. They say one thing and that means the opposite. I should know better by now. Tonight though, it’s me and mother nature.

David met an Abruzzo girl. He’s never coming back. Ha.

That didn't take very long!

The forecasts here are off-kilter, too.  I take each one with a grain of salt.

I'm thinking of going to sleep early so I can be up, pre-dawn, to see if I can spot anything.

You mean David didn’t take very long? He met a beautiful Abruzzo girl. I saw her photo. She is so pretty. He’s done for. I’m telling you, he has been to her family home to eat a few times. I’m going to have a great grandbaby before this conversation is done.

I don’t know and my DIL doesn’t know either except what David says which is all good.

I don’t know. He’s young and in love.

Monday Elli and Anna will come. Anna only stays a week.

Pops and I will be broke by Tuesday.

When I finally did, both my mother and my sister were crazy about him.

It didn't last.  I decided that I already had an Italian mother -- I didn't need an Italian mother-in-law.
