Re: Permanent Jewlery

[ Edited ]

If I were young again, I'd be all for it! But, since I am no longer, it seems like an accident waiting to happen.

It could catch on something, and then you'd really be stuck.

Remember that young hiker whose arm got stuck in a freak accident? He sawed it off in order to get free.

Yeah, I know, an arm is a far cry from a bracelet, but still!

Jewelry should be removable, just in case.

I've turned into my mother.

It's a bracelet, not an anchor chain.  If you're ever caught on something, the chain will snap, same as if the bracelet had a clasp.

Just the thought of that makes me claustrophobic.

Nope, not for me. The closest I got was the Cartier Love bracelet that screws on and there's a little screw driver to remove it.  I wore it for about a year and it was annoying when I slept, washed my face, switched from gold to silver jewelry, etc. I sold it and even used got a good price.

A local business offered this and one idea was to get jewelry in memory of a loved one.

The braclet can be cut with scissors if you need to remove them or no longer want to wear.

I think the jewelry is pretty

Have people really become that lazy? This is just plain dumb, don't be dumb.

Any thoughts on this...when a piece of jewelry is soldered on to you..no clasps.

A local jewelry store is having it this Saturday. Interested in it...bracelet or

anklet..or maybe even a necklace.

people do that?

Our neighborhood is having a 2 day Spring festival this weekend.  There is a jeweler doing 'installs'.   I have a lot of on-going medical so I don't see myself getting one. They appear to be very dainty.
