Hello ,I'm a firm believer of "paying it forward " ....simple acts of kindness, compassion, helping someone in need .

I do it all the time, especially buy lunch for the military folks that are dining where I'm dining.

When driving I stop to let people walk across the road, I can see them struggling. And I also let other cars pull out in front of me if they are in a hurry.

I make sure to always thank service people and tip them, whether they are delivering our newspaper or serving coffee or tending to patients in the hospital, they are on their feet all day and deserve to be recognized!

Definately a yay for me.  That is how I was raised, especially seeing things my grandparents did.

We try to be be kind, in general.  That may be in the form of picking up a restaurant check, holding the door for someone, letting a person with just a few items go before me in the check out line, a gift to a charity, passing along my Aldi's cart without accepting the other person's quarter, or pitching in to help someone with a task.

It's not a big deal but I have helped the person in front of me whether it be at a grocery store or wherever when they do not have the correct change and is short the amount I will give them the difference needed to pay for their goods, sometimes it's just these little things that will bring a smile to others.

@Sassycoco  - I'm definitely a believer and glad to help when I can. 

One time, at a convenience store, there was a guy in front of me counting pennies to be able to pay for his gas.  I asked if I could buy him some gas.  He was so happy and thanked me profusely.

At the checkout line at the store, if the person behind me just has a few items, I will ask them if they want to go in front of me.

I do believe in paying it forward but not announcing/bragging about what you dol!!!
