@lynnie61  I find the muddy dull blacks the worst to pair.  I don't even like the way it looks.  I prefer a crisp striking black, black, black.

You can  buy laundry detergent for darks.  It keeps darks from fading.  I've usd it for years on black and navy capris.  A year+ ago I compared a new pair of navy or black capris with a new pair and couldn't see a difference in the color depth.  In case it matters, we have soft water and I wash all of our street clothes in cold water.
