Received a gift card for Panera.  I've never been there before.

What do you recommend there for lunch?

Do they have waiter/waitress or do you order at the counter?

Do they have tables and booths to sit at?   Someone told me years ago they had to stand while eating.

Thanks.

I love Panera, look at their menu on their website.

My Panera has tables, you order at the counter and they call you up to get your order.   Generally by the time I put my wallet away and get my drink, my order is ready.

I love their tomato soup.    Are you familiar with Jason's Deli?    They are similar.   Just good food, order & pay at the register, but Jason's delivers to your table.

You order at the counter - no waitress service.  They have tables and booths.

I have only had their soups and sandwiches - both very good.  They also have salads.

There is a big enough menu to choose from.  Hope this helps.

Enjoy!

I agree with the other ladies. Good food. I just wanted to add that the Panera Bread I've been to give you a number. You sit down and place the number on the table. Then a server brings you your order.

Im just now learning that not all Panera Bread do this. But however you get your food, it's worth it.

The Panera here in Naples gives you a signaler and they deliver to your table

I love their pastries: esp. the orange iced scones and almond topped bear claws.  I usually stop in late afternoon when I am back home...sit and read my book for a break .

i enjoy their coffee.

Love the place....will become very crowded and noisy when kids are out after school and in the summer break.

If you enjoy it, be sure to get a rewards card: free pastry every so many visits as well as a month where you can get a free bagel every day ( offered a few times a year ).

My suggestion would be that you look at the menu and order something you like.  Panera is huge chain restaurant, some are small takeouts that sometimes have stool seating against the wall.  Others are big with tables seating.  I don't believe any of them have table service but I could be wrong about that.  You order, pay the cashier and either sit and eat or take it.
