no, hadn't heard of this.  But this is something I think my granddaughter woukd love she's, 25, and into all kinds of instruments.. usually teaches herself.

I just bought one and sent it to my 25 yo granddaughter....., she will love it.

@sydsgma1 omg...Thank you, I just looked this up and even found a video with someone playing it and the music was versatile,doesn't have to be chanty  etc. I just bought for my 73 yr old brother who lives alone most of the time ( widowed for a few decades now, has) imbibes and is artistic. I think he is going to LOVE this. 

I had never heard of a panda drum. Thanks to you I have my Christmas present for him taken care of! I got the 15 tone one and on Anazon, used my points too.

ALMOST thinking of buying myself one.But I'll have to wait.

I just got one from I think Temu because I had a credit from stuff that never made it through customs (really?  4th of July mini tree decorations) - dirt cheap.  I love it ! I'll be using it but let's go with relaxation rituals and voice strengthening exercises. .

@sydsgma1  update. My granddaughter just received it today. She is thrilled.  She sent me video, she is already doing things on it.  Sounds so soothing and wonderful. Thanks for the suggestion. This one I hot on Amazon it is the heavy good one

My Panda Drum arrived yesterday and I enjoy tapping the notes for the sheer enjoyment of the sound.  I ordered from Panda Drum and the drum is heavy and well made.  Will start reading and watching the videos.  I bought a silver mid sized one.  It came with a carrying case, mallets and Instruction booklet with starter songs.  Glad I saw this thread.
