Very rare sighting for me....this guy appeared on my deck in February. What a treat!  He was around for 3 weeks then gone.

Thanks for sharing. So cute!

We thought there was an owl around here some place years ago. We kept hearing it coo coo but found it was the Doves around here doing all the cooing. Sounded like an owl too me.

We have Barred owls in the woods behind our house. I used to think the sounds they made were the foxes, lol. 

 

I Googled Barred owls and was able to hear what they sounded like. 

"I've been here since October 2006. Wow!"

What a gorgeous face. One of the most beautiful birds, I love owls.  I wish that would happen to me!
