@dancingwoman   I heard you're due a foot of snow tonight in Round 3 of the Big Blow.  The wind has already started blowing and we have snow coming here too.

Would you believe a meteorologist actually had the nerve to predict we MIGHT GET .3"?  Yes, that's 3/10th of an inch.  It's gonna be a mighty wee snowman.  Why even mention it?

Time to crank up the fire and make more soup.

@Kachina624  It's been snowing off and on most of the day.  Mostly just flurries.  We still have plenty of snow on the ground.  4 and 5 foot piles where DH has plowed.  About 18 inches in other places.  

I was just saying to DH at lunch...10 inches to a foot predicted...I know we need it but it's tiring..

Yesterday morning it was sunny and the song of the red winged blackbirds that have come back sounded like springTIME. I guess March is gonna come in like a lion.  Stay warm...DH

@Kachina624  Did you hear there was an avalanche at Vallecito the other day?  Two skiers died in it.  It's rare to have one there.  The snow is very unstable.  Storms upon storms of heavy snowfall makes for unstable snow layers...DW

@dancingwoman    Yes, they mentioned it on the news last night.  They must have been cross-country skiing in an untested area.

Boy, Purgatory certainly has a bunch of snow this year.
