Hello dear friend, Pam.  @PamfromCT

Wondering if you think the same as me?

I do not believe that very many, if anyone knows how this is elevated from something so small, then has no substance to its content.

Heard from other: moving on, not knowing, don't have any idea.

Surely, this is very strange.

Somewhat confused myself, but will not complicate this furthermore, because I don't even understand.

KC is eating about 1\2 can of wet foods; have special ordered her some on line easy to eat foods.

I seriously thought she would not come out of this, but the Clingy has declined about 50%. No one actually knew how physically tiring this was for the two of us. I am still taking the medication for depleted energy and starting to eat more, myself.

How is [E] doing. I will not bother you since you are such a devoted half time care giver volunteer. You are such a sweet and concerned friend for so many.

As I have always known, everyone has their own life to contend with; I do not believe I can bandaid this any further.

Stuff! That's what people want to hear w\o asking.

You have been such an intelligent, understanding friend from start to now, always helping.

Can not worry what may be speculation, it has been one roller coaster ride getting this far. Following your mention of what you went through..... and will not pour fuel to the what no one knows any longer.

Just so thankful that I did not have two deaths back to back.

All my best, with loving sincere thoughts, Always ~

My Dear NAES,

Oh, I am so relieved that KC is doing well.  I can only imagine the stress you and your DH have gone through.  As I said, can only imagine.  Those of us who truly love little helpless creatures suffer the most.  While DH and I have been down this road so many times, it has never been back-to-back, like you have been through.  Oh, my goodness.  It surely takes a physical and emotional toll.  Crying until you can't cry any more.

Little KC will continue to do well, of that I am sure.  I feel it was meant to be that she came to your home.  As she gets her strength back, I bet she will be much less clingy.  Don't you wish she could talk, to tell you all she has been through?

Whatever we go through in life, there are always those who will tell you to "move on," etc.  Yes, until it is them.

Thank you for asking about E.  Don't know if you know, but she fell trying to get out of bed.  Fortunately, she didn't break anything, just a bit bruised up.  She, like others of her generation, doesn't want to bother people.  Despite how many people are there to help.  All is well that ends well, but she is now in skilled nursing, and it was a blow to be moved there.  but she is now making friends and adjusting pretty well.  We do like to talk about funny things from the past, including a few relatives.  She gets many visitors and phone calls, which makes her happy.  I like to get her laughing.

I hope and pray KC Angel will be 100 percent fine really soon.  Don't know if she is ready for it yet, but we have "treatsie time" in the early pm.  In case we are late, someone here goes in the kitchen and stands by the cupboard door.

Please give us us updates on KC's progress.  I think she knows she is one lucky kitty.  I hope you are happy with your new vet, as well.

Please take care, and I sincerely thank you for all your kind words and well wishes.  I wish you nothing but all the best.

Love,

Pam

@PamfromCTHeart  Heart~

You sound exactly like me....' Until it's them' ....

If anyone could bring gladness and laughter to any one - it would be you, and I mean that with every fiber of my being~

KittieCream is just becoming a God send. She is gaining weight, eats a can of Fancy Feast every night, then ready for more- ( of course) surprises of a new flavor. Is she not a picky refined up town girl!??????

She knows 95% of each floor and the typically said phrase `  Curious as a Cat`••<

We ordered approximately 30 sealed small bags of Temptations in the 'Natural' which is pure nutrition, meaning no artificial flavoring or dyes.

She is the sweetest little 7 lb bundle of J O Y  ever.  She is addicted to head bumps and ear rubs. She's made a Complete turn-a-round. I have showered her with love beyond measure.

Her eyes: they are the deepest green I have ever seen and beautifully large.

One ear is a soft charcoal gray\ black and the other ear is totally white.

Her meow is so soft that most could not hear her, but to put her in a carrier..WATCH OUT!   Her strength for ten years is Remarkable.

She loves music and goes to sleep when the TV is on low, but will awake at any sudden ( unusual) sound.

This is great, she extends her Right paw out to say hello, never fails.

So far her favorite sleep areas are : my computer chair, the hand painted 36" living room family heirloom, some hidden space in the spare guest room that I use for clothing storage, on top of the left side of the dining table next to tall plants( non toxic), on the over stuffed arms of three huge recliners, next to the small air filter that humms her to sleep.

She saw a small teeny ant size bug yesterday and jumped. She snores, the cutest lady like heavenly sound that would melt your heart. No one can believe she just turned TEN years old on March 18th.

She certainly has a story to tell if only,,,,,,,   We will never know.

Not in to toys or amusement, just totally a two people kitty, so far. Will run for safety if she hear the front entry door being opened by keys.

Pam, I possibly will revisit the former, but noticed no one truly misses anyone to the point in asking! That was very clearly noticed immediately checking back page by page.

" I do not wine and dine groups of older acquainted  ones.  ..and I detest the word sistas"!   I am more new there, so I definitely can understand ~

I have tried my best and can say no more to express my hours and days since trying to save KitTEE; if only they or anyone could have seen what had happened to her those last hours while dying, the sudden!y KittieCream being introduced while she being traumatized to a house of what seemed horrors being taken every night to _This strange place of IVs, infusions, blood work, Xrays, different people passing her on to another day to day - THEN home more frightened than before.

No, I not in any way trying to win any popularity chit chat social network, that's not me!

Sorry that this 3rd whoever came on, but it did, so everyone can choose to believe what they wish,"""IF""" that WAS the way I read some comments. May BE it was someone else...I really do not know. ASK ME, don't just ASSUME. For this I WAS completely confused and will not go ahead and bend backwards.

 Craziest thing I ever witnessed.

I'll be on other post in this time, so always will check in...maybe I read this information incorrectly... I give that much.

My heart aches for [ E ] and her situation; being uprooted when aging reminds me too much in what I have seen with one little UNWANTED older cat, so naturally my heart go all out for you and your overwhelming love for one family member.

Yes, when it's them!

  love, B

I am so very happy that KittieCream has settled in so nicely.  I can promise you that as time goes on, she will become even more affectionate than she already is.  We have given up on buying expensive toys for Lily.  What she LOVES are the tiny fake mousies.  We have so many and find them in odd places all over the house.  Just thought I'd mention never to leave a closet door even part-way open, as they seem to make a mad dash into that.  Lily even gets into a kitchen cupboard that is open, a bathroom vanity door open, etc.  And unlike your petite little princess, Lily is a plus size girl.  It's quite remarkable . Also, try leaving a little box on the floor or a paper bag she can crawl into.  I also find cuddle time lasts longer if I place an afghan on my lap.  I've given away some of the kitty toys she has no interest in to my kids for their kitties.

It's obvious KittieCream is a love bug.  What a sweet tiny heart she has.  And what a source of joy and laughter she has.  And how they take over the house!  The CEOs to be sure.  We found grooming Lily difficult, as she does not like us to groom her tummy.  And Maine Coons have huge mitts for paws, and we were afraid to try to cut her nails.  So we brought her to PETCO for grooming.  In the meantime, we found a wonderful groomer who comes to our home, complete with a large van equipped for dog and cat grooming.  So once a month, Lily gets a complete shampoo, nails clipped, for the same cost as PETCO.  Are we crazy or what?  Yup, crazy about this kitty.

Oh, as far as third party involvement in postings.  Some posters "reinvent" themselves with different names.  It is obvious when you look them up.  Likely when they leave quite a trail, they just change their names.

I so value you as a true friend.  Just can't begin to say enough great things about you.  Please let me know what thread you will be posting on so we can always keep in touch.  I am so happy about KitteeCream.  As "empty nesters," they add so much joy.  I don't think I could survive without a pet.

Love to you.  And so much admiration.

Pam

Hi @NAES1 and @NAES1 How kind of you to update every poster who worried about Kitty Cream and spent a long time praying for you and Kitty and earlier trying to help after you lost your KiTee. (((((((((hug)))))))))❤️

I have these quotes in a frame together about how we're advocating for our friends and for all including our animal friends and family:

Elie Wiesel: “Do not stand idly by if you witness injustice…” "Do not stand idly by." Leviticus 19 “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”― Martin Luther King Jr. “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

Arent we blessed to see and know posters that stand up for animals who can't talk for themselves and for people who need kindnesses as well. God bless @NAES1 and I pray you & kitty continue to do great!❤️💙💚❤️💙💚

Hi Cecesnana, Thank you for your sweet and caring post for our dear @NAES1.

It may not be appropriate now or here, but I have researched and found a very helpful natural supplement for arthritis.  I have been through -ell and back with arthritis in my lower back and pelvic floor dysfunction.  If one issue flares up, it aggravates the other, and the result is truly terrible pain.  I went to every type of doc you can imagine, two CT scans, two MRIs, and nobody could figure what was going on.  Finally, I went to a Pain Clinic, where the problem was diagnosed in the span of a couple hours.  But their solution was shots in my back, which could only be given several times per year and heavy oral pain meds.  refused to give me arthritis-specific meds.  But I did have many sessions with a PT who specialized in pelvic floor pain, as well as PT for back pain.

I finally went back to my family doc (yes, internal medicine person).  He put me on arthritis med and only one heavy duty pain pill per day.  This helped a lot, but still times of pain at times.

I did also go to the Pain Clinic at Mass General.  The doc agreed I was on the right regime for me.  And because I had a bad reaction from my last shot at the previous pain clinic, he said I was not a candidate for the special nerve block procedure they often do.  No way, too much risk.

After a lot of research on my own, I decided to try a turmeric-

based natural product.  I have been taking a Solgar product called "Full Spectrum Curcumin" for several weeks now.  only one capsule a day.  No junk in this formulation.  So far, it has helped my arthritis pain so much.  Of course, I am still taking my prescribed meds.  But, for me at least, this product is really working!

Sorry to bore you with my saga of pain, but I just wanted you to know the full story.  You might want to do some research on your own-Web MD has some interesting info on turmeric.  Maybe there's something out there that can help you.  Arthritis  is so common with many people.

Note to Moderators:  I hope I haven't violated any rules here.  I am just an average person, with no ties to any manufacturer.  I just want to help anybody who is suffering like I did.  Thank you!

I always start and end with gratitude and so I thank you @PamfromCT, no way are you just an average person. You're very special.❤️💚💙We see that from your caring posts and learn from them. Oh dear me you’ve been through too much and never think you’re boring to share and help. It’s what I’ve seen you and @NAES1do and it’s heart warming. I’m on an early part of figuring out the pain I have so I have a lot to learn but this pain sometimes makes me cry and not be able to do the things I want or need to do or to be more with the people (and dear animals) I love. I know from your posts you understand how this can be. I’ll write down the things you suggested and I’ll see my doctor next week so I’ll have more to ask and talk about.

Thanks again from my heart.

Hi @cecesnana, Thank you for your kind words. But I am an ordinary person.  I wish you the best of luck with your doctor's appointment.  Just remember something I learned, even in the medical field:  Remember you are the consumer.  I know only too well how such pain affects everything in your life.  We have two grandchildren, a boy who is 8 and a girl who is 3.  I love them with all my heart, and I want to give them the tons of love I have for them.  They are beautiful, inside and out, and are such sweet children.  And they love their Opa and Mimi.  My son and his wife are doing such a great job.  I want to be a big part of their lives, and the pain I have gone through has certainly affected the quality of time I have spent with them.

It has interfered with what DH can do together, as well as the volunteer work I did for five years with skilled nursing patients at a high quality nursing facility.  I know you also have so many important things also that you cannot do, and I know the emotional pain, as well as the physical pain. Please keep me informed of your progress, promise?
