I don't keep sauce packets but then I don't ask for them either.  If I get exra when ordering chinese food and I generally only get 1 or 2 packets of soy, I use it and its done.  I have enough stuff in my house I don't need that as well.

I think there is more to this store than what was heard on the radio.

I have a small Lock & Lock in my refrigerator with some soy sauce packets.  I've had them for years.   I wonder if they are any good still.

I think I also have a few of the Taco Bell or Jack in the Box taco sauce packets that are fairly old.

Do these depreciate in quality or just plain go bad?

I wouldn't eat them after a little over a year.  The flavor would likely have turned unpleasant.  Why take a chance with your food.

You can probably order a box of types of condiment packages on amazon.

There is a shortage of sauce packets in some places. People take theirs sauces seriously I guess. Taco Bell sauce packets are sold on ebay. I don't eat fast food much and so I never have any extra sauce packets. I dontl like extra junk in my refrigertor anyway. Sunday it gets cleaned out. My father, when he was alive, had a drawer of packets. Salt, pepper, jelly, ketchup, etc. You name it. He was so frugal. Woman LOL

When my daughters were younger and lived at home, we used to get carry out food frequently when we were rushing around with school activities and games.  I used to save the packets with plastic utensils and salt and pepper packets in them.  They were great to stick in a picnic basket or sack lunch.

When I cleaned out my walk in pantry last year I found a small box full of them!!🤣🤣🤣

But no sauce packets.  We used them or tossed them I guess.

There is a neat show on LX (I get it over-the-air) called "Frankie's Struggle Meals." The host is very creative in showing how to make great food on a budget, and one of his key methods is to use sauce and seasoning packets he keeps organized in a kitchen drawer. I was so impressed I decided to do the same -- bought plastic organizer bins and can now see those packets at a glance so they don't languish in some hidden corner.

Why didn't she ask for more sauce?
