 This morning while walking Snickers a doe crossed in front of us. Snickers wagged her tail recognizing her. She's the mother of twin yearlings. 
   Behind her a fawn followed, then another! We just waited and I called "deerdoe" to her so she would know who I am. 
   She wanted an apple but I had none and don't feed them now. The does wean the fawns to feed, it will be hard this year for her since I can't feed them, neighbors complain. 
   But the beauty of them has made my day!

@1Snickers    Dear Krypto,  I'm not lucky enough to live where I can enjoy deer roaming free.  It would be a blessing!  I was thinking, instead of hand feeding the deer, you could plant a deer garden with flowers and vegetables they like to eat.  The garden would be for them and they would come and eat without the hand feeding.  God bless you for loving them so much ...
