You were the one who started this thread, and people have the right to comment. No where did you say that you only wanted responses that agreed with your point of view. If you only wanted people to agree with you, then you should have said so from post 1. At least @CalminHeart  didn't have her post removed by the Mod. But gee, you did. For profanity.

My post remains...another was removed.  No profanity from me...get your information right before making accusations.  Delivery now rescheduled and will hope for a better day.  And I never asked for agreeable or disagreeable comments.  In fact no comment is also just fine.  Unclear why there is such hate...shop instead.

Deny it all you want, but you and I both know exactly which post of yours was removed by the Mod. It was the one where you used the "B" word.

To refresh your memory, it was post # 38, where Mod Beth wrote, "This post has been removed by QVC profanity". It was a post that you wrote.

Check it out for yourself, if you don't believe me.

How do I know? Because I was the one who reported it to the Mod for swearing, so my information is perfectly right, dear.

If you didn't want anybody to respond to your thread/post, then you should have said so from the get, or just write it in your diary, because people have the right to respond, whether you  like it or not, as long as it doesn't violate the terms of agreement that we all agreed to abide by when we signed up here. And the rules apply to everyone, including you. And one of those rules is, no swearing, and using the "B" word, is swearing. And obviously, the Mod agreed with me, because that post went bye-bye.

When I'm in my car the radio is always tuned to a station that gives traffic report updates every ten minutes. That's why I listen to it. My preferred route goes through two tunnels where backups and accidents are common. Imagine my aggravation when I get off the ramp to the tunnel only to find it backed up for miles. No info that there had been a backup. Sitting in traffic 45 minutes later and still no traffic report about the accident in the tunnel.

All that is to say traffic reports are not always reliable.

And I really hadn't planned to respond to this thread until I read the comment that posters were being insultingly painted with a broad brush and refered to as "mean girls."

To me, name calling speaks volumes.

I know enough after reading all the defensive posts.

Stuff happens. It doesn't matter if he took a break for lunch or got stuck in a tunnel. It'll get there, that day or another day. I feel for delivery drivers these days. They have tons of things to deliver and only so many hours in a day. Most of us would feel real frustration if we did their jobs.

PBarn sent an email with a time window...only problem now is that I was told delivery would be Saturday and not tomorrow as email stated.

In light of OP's sharp retorts to some posts I sure would like to hear the driver's side of the story.

Well I did not get a chance to get their names since they departed so quickly..so you will not hear his side.  But it does not matter because among friends I now know his side is the preferred side.

All this over a delivery?  You could have had the chair already if you didn't throw a fit that day.

I think your experience with PB is not the norm.  I've dealt with them many times and have never had an issue.  You should have only dealt with their customer service people about this delivery.

Yesterday my chair and ottoman were scheduled for delivery between 11:00 and 1:00.  I was so looking forward to it after waiting six months since placing the order.  Well, delivery window came and went so I called cs.  Oops, no delivery today!  Rescheduled for next week.  Cs called back saying delivery was today within the hour.  Window came and went.  I called cs.  They are coming soon...driver called and said 45 minutes away!  Window came and went.  I called cs and dispatcher said they were stuck in a tunnel due to accident and would be hours.  Within five minutes the delivery arrived and I opened the door and complained about all of the misinformation.  Driver took great offense and yelled at me, took my boxed chair and ottoman and threw them back on the truck and left!  I called cs and told them what happened.  They tried to turn the truck back but I guess the driver refused.  So...next week we will try again but somehow I think I will not look with loving eyes at the new chair and ottoman.  And I doubt I buy more furniture from that place I loved for many years.

Good for him.
