@shoekitty   Early this morning on whatever news station was playing on my TV, I heard there are differences between  the brothers' actions while in prison and they will be heard by a different parole board.

That's all I know and I haven't ever allowed myself to get as involved as I would have if I had to serve on a jury.   Glad not to be a part of such a sad situation, happy not to have known that whole family.

In some ways, I feel sorry for the brothers. They were sexually and physically abused before the murders. That changes someone forever.

On the other hand, not being a model (or close to) prisoner would make me very nervous about granting parole. No surprise parole wasn't granted.

Re: PAROLE DENIED

[ Edited ]

This was premeditated murder as both had purchased a shotgun and each used theirs in the killing of their parents.  News stated their motive was their father disinherited them while they said it was self defense for sexual abuse. Also, it was reported that one of them used a computer to change their father's will.  Half the family wants them released but on the mother's side they do not.

Wonderful decision.  Hopefully, Lyle will be denied as well.

Listening to what he said is disgusting.  Still blaming his victims.  They need to die in Prison.

GREAT news! The parole board made the RIGHT decision. Hopefully, Lyle will also be denied. NEITHER of them should EVER get out of prison.
