I can't say if Theresa truly connected with the spirits of the deceased, but she did give comfort, empathy and consolation to many who lost their loved ones. I can't condemn anything or anyone that lifts someone up who is devastated and inconsolable. People willingly pay for comforts such as clothing, trips and jewelry. If what they paid her made them feel better, then God bless them.
@DSD2. In other words, she was performing a fraud and scam but if her victims had warm, fuzzy feelings, it was okay?
I see both sides.
I do think some people do appear to get warm fuzzies and are really comforted by these readings and when you've lost someone getting any amount of comfort can mean so much and be so helpful in your recovery.
If they just do it in passing and don't become addicted and pay a lot of money. I see no harm in that.
Also I think some of these phycics do believe in their gifts and aren't all scammers....

I had never heard of her.

I personally am not a fan of Teresa Caputo.
My SIL on the other hand liked her for many years and finally got tickets to one of her reading/shows.
She walked out of the show totally disliking Caputo. She said Caputo was rude, talked in circles to try and prove she knew things about the audience, and was abrupt and dismissing when she was proven wrong.
That was just one day and show and just my SILs opinion.
She was so disappointed that she never watched her again.

I know of her but havn't watched any of her shows in the past years.

I don't think choices like Caputo will help the Q survive.

No, that isn't what I said. I said "I can't say". She may well have a connection...If people who are heartbroken and grieving choose to willingly pay for a consultation that is their right.
I try not to be judgemental @Kachina624

When my husband passed away I wanted to talk to him again so badly, if there had been a psychic in my area I probably would have been one of those tempted to pay someone not even caring they could be ripping me off. Thankfully, I came to my senses and never pursued it. But, I can see how someone so overcome with grief can fall for it.
why can't I spell that???
