I've never ordered anything from Old Navy, thinking it is rather cheaply made and more for teens.  But I do see something I'd like to order and was wondering about sizing.  Sometimes cheaper clothing is cut small.  Generally speaking, should I order up on shirts?  I usually get a small in Denim & Co.

Hello happygal

I am buying from Old Navy as well an I find the sizes (as you said) a little small.

If you are a Small with Denim&Co. do size up one size with Old Navy and even Gap.

Enjoy your new cloths dear and Merry Christmas!

I do buy from ON, no size problems or me because I have a tape measure and I take my measurements and I use the ON size charts.  Do that and you won't have any problems.

I rarely shop there but recently went in to buy a pair of velvet leggings. I am a small, thought I’d be a medium at ON. Nope - bought a small. Fit great.

I agree, to go up a size in ON.  Btw, they are now my "go to"for basic tees made out of microfiber (made well and usually on sale for ten dollars or less).

I never hardly went into to Old Navy because I thought it was a young persons store.  Now I shop there a lot.  Once you figure out your size you can order online and get some really good deals.  The description will tell if it is fitted etc.  I order my normal size. I have gone up and regretted it.  I have bought a lot of sweaters and tops and wear their mid rise straight leg jeans in curvy profile.  I am a size 14 and wear extra large.

I find their sizing all over the place

I can be a XS or  S or even a med depending on the item.

I would order 2 different sizes and return.

sm in DC could be a XS?

I don't think their clothing is just for teens and most is nice for what I pay for it
