Re: October 2021: Bird's Nest at the Back Fence

To the QVC Moderator who restored my 'extinct species' post, I thank you.

For everyone else - I copied information from US Fish and Wildlife about their most recent recommendations to add to the 'extinct species' list.  As you can see the information came out kinda crazy and some of the letters on the left side were truncated.  When I went in to edit the post (which was lengthy like the one I posted in the fashion forum) it was marked as spam.  This time I responded or rebutted the 'spam' classification to the QVC moderation staff.

Something to think about.  Watch long posts that need to be edited because you might get flagged as spam.  It seemed to happen to me because I immediately tried to edit something when I saw an error and I think it was interpreted as spam.  Then again, what do I know.

Either way the post was restored Woman Happy

@Bird mama

Glad you post got restored.  Things are awfully wonky in here (and on the whole website) sometimes.  A lot of things I've tried to copy don't come out well, so I just don't attempt.

As for the extinction list, the Ivory Billed Woodpecker was quite a big news story around here last week.  The last time someone thought they saw it, there was a huge influx of tourists and "bird" people, which in turn brought in a whole lot of money for the area.  No one actually saw the bird at that time, though.  Unfortunate.  I have seen several Pileated Woodpeckers here--close, but no cigar.
