Finally got my vents closed. I have ceiling heat and the air conditioning vents are in the ceiling. My dd said do not get on a ladder. I take blood thinner. She didn't want me to fall and hit my head. I said ok then you come and close them or bring me a bicycle helmet. She came. We live very close and she goes very Close to here.on her way to work. Glad that's done.

last week I put my garbage out a day early. They come on Wednesday. So tonight I got it ready and looked out and no one had their cans out yet. Well I thought I'm not going to goof up again so decided today was Monday. Now I'm getting ready to jump into flannel pjs and look out and people are putting cans out. . Good grief. So guess I'll put my coat on and wheel the can down the drive. If I don't have any appointments I don't usually think about what day it is. I don't wear a watch.

I wouldn't like that black widow that close. ImGlad you were able to tap her out, Viv.

im bummed hallmark is playing Christmas movies. It's too early and besides I love to get cozy and watch murder she wrote. I've seen them over and over and still forget who did it. Gotta get moving so I can watch wheel of fortune. It makes me feel smart but jeopardy just messes me up.

hey all

dh says one of his local radio stations he listens to on the radio on way to work (car radio) begin playing xmas music 30 october, this is just way to early for me.

did normal chores, not many today,

got walk in early.

hung out clothes today, good stiff breeze, deep blue/sunny sky, hope clothes dry

not much else.

OMG. a black widow.... mmm. I think I would have had a heart attack.. I don't know where you live, but I think I'd have to move. I am scared of Daddy Long Legs. I know I am a whimp.

I can handle most spiders and they usually like to give me a heart attack in the utility tub in the basement. I catch them and let them go outside. I use a big plastic container to catch them. Now centipedes... they are usually dead and gone before I give them a thought

not much here today

did some chores, didn't break my back doing chores, lazy today, did walk

hung out clothes on lines. will they dry, not sure, it is dampish out, little wind, some sunshine. maybe take off the wet less dryer has to work to dry the clothes the remainder of the way.

weather is major story today. so far all west of us, i can stay there. flooding of massive proportion happening all over 3 states, so far staying west of us, it can stay there,see how the storm progresses during day. dh and i wanted to drive to dover tonight, see if we have to postpone trip till tomorrow.

did get morn walk in

have hair cut at 12 noon today. ok guys later

We had nice weather yesteray, well at least until mid afternoon and then it got cloudy. It felt warmer because of the sunshine and it was a good day to go through the mechanical and electrical inspections for the furnace/ac I had installed in September. First guy came at 10 am and then the other guy came at 11:30 am. Everything has been approved and I'm glad that's behind me.

My DH and I had a nice trip up north.Saw a giant field of pumpkins. The orange looked so vivid with the green fields. Had a good time visiting a GHOST SHIP and HAUNTED PRISON.

We have had gloomy days this week,with rain off and on.

We need some cold nights to get the leaves brighter,they look dull now.

@Leeny So am I, used to terrify me as a child, but now, living where I do, I have become accustomed to insects, but do not like any type of these.
