Toilet paper has become a big gripe with me. For years bought Scott's - due to my smart Mother always checking things for best quality, best price. It like most things has changed. Roll still says 1000 sheets but they are tiny sheets and disappear rapidly. I was buying at the most two packages of them a year. Ain't gonna be that way now. What a rip off and it is everything. Still cannot find one container of the disinfectant spray. Makes no sense to me at all and yes I know about the virus - still should be supplies for homes.without binge buying. Those packages of TP I mentioned I always bought at Sam's and the package holds a lot of rolls of TP - am thinking without going to the shed to check, there are perhaps 40 rolls in each package.. Even with kids here used for the most part perhaps 2 rolls a week. I now - just me - use a roll every other day.. This is so annoying. The great quality is not there either.
Amazing to me that now you can find hand sanitizer everywhere - very pricey compared to what we use to pay, but everyone has it - tons of it.
Overcast outside and brrrrr.
Have a great day everyone.

@Winifred When I went to my small town supermarket yesterday, I saw disinfectant spray in limited quanties.I haven't checked toilet paper as when this thing first started, I stocked up each time I saw some.
I just ordered a supply of filters for my HVAC. I buy from DiscountFilters for years and have have been satisfied. I have a size that for some reason is hard to find, so this site as been very useful.
I have a new bag of bird seed--the kinds in which the seeds are smaller and non-germinating if the darlings drop some on t he ground.

Freddie @Winifred My favorite spray is Lysol Clean Linen

I have a can that I bought at the beginning of the pandemic that I haven't used yet. These days it would be easier for me to find Bigfoot or a Unicorn, lol.
My sister found this spray by Clorox (new to me). She spritzed the citrus scent and said it's not strong. Maybe if you are a Lysol girl like me and want to have something at least, see if you can find this by Clorox.

Not much happening here. Did some kitchen chores and participated in Prime Day by buying an Insta Pot. I doubt that I will use it much, but the big savings justified the risk (as I justify expending the $49).

We are really down in the dumps today. Got some bad news from hubby's nephew. His sister, about 55,had a heart attack yesterday. This A M she had another while in ICU. He said there taking it hour by hour, she's in grave condition. I feel for her family, esp. her brother,as they just lost there Mom in July,Dad has bee gone for a few years.
Before we were married,my hubby and I spent all our free time with this brother and SIL,we have always been close for over 50 years. It's hard to lose siblings ,but really hurts when it's there children
It sucks to get old!

I'm sorry that your relative is in such bad shape. Thoughts and prayers that she can pull out of trouble. Marvelous things are happening in medicine today, and you just never know. Don't give up hope.🙏❤️
My mother used to say that about getting old. I don't think I ever really appreciated it until I started getting there myself. You (and she) are right--sometimes it does s**k! 👎
