This past week has been horrendous. Had court yesterday re the little ones, it looks like it may be almost a done deal to remove them from my care. Have I done anything wrong - no, have not but that CPS worker who was the first one we ever had, is a liar. She puts in writing and it is then evaluated by a Judge - CPS seems to get whatever they want and the heck with the truth. She was asking around for people to say something bad about me, she got NOTHING her questions from anyone so I guess she made up her own stuff. She questioned the two little ones at length several times - that is legal - without anyone else present, me included. Well I an only guess what a three year old and 4 and one half year old's logic could be. She submitted to the court that I had any and all babysitting and they were rarely here at home. She also said Shannon was here all the time - that stopped a long time ago but Shannon CAN be here, she is not allowed to care for the children - and she has not. But she just has not been around. Shannon drove me insane due to her mouth but she has not nor would she harm the kids and they do love her. Just as simple as that. What a nightmare. Long story but I am horribly disappointed. Court again next Friday so I kind of figure that is when I will be told the children will be removed. They have made a big deal out of me refusing to let Ricky take Adderall - I never said he may need medication but NOT that one and the MD who prescribed it agreed with me after reading reports about Ricky's great behavior at school - he even wrote a report for the court stating that and CPS is hanging onto it. Horrible. Lot more involved but not up to sitting here and writing it all out.

@Winifred  Oh no Freddie I am so sorry to read this news.  As far as the children always being at a babysitter, it is my recollection that the original criticism from the powers that be was that you didn't have any help or backup.  So from where I sit where are all the supposed babysitters coming from - it's not like you had help crawling out of the woodwork. 

A child going to pre school is not babysitting - it's called socializing them with other little people and preparing them for a schedule so school is not a shock.

I don't know enough about the ins and outs of this kind of thing.  What I do know is that you've tried really hard for at least 3 generations of your family starting with the grands.

Another drippy and overcast day here.  I met some of my former coworkers for karaoke at a bar and grill that's under 5 miles from my house.  Never been in there in the 17 years I've lived in this house   Some of the girls sang, I did not.  It was good to see them, some I hadn't seen in 6 months.  I went around 9:15, left around midnight and was off to sleep by 12:15.

Well this month has gone by at warp speed.  I skipped roller skating yesterday and am happy to report the bruising on the left knee is almost gone.  Too bad that healing friction burn still hurts.  I think of how many times I fell as a kid and I never let it get to me.  It feels different these days
