Epi's great great niece (?), the baby in the hospital is out of ICU, in a step down unit.  She asked that I thank you for your continued prayers.

Glad to read that the little one in Epi's family is doing better - very good news to read.

Bit chilly today and last night it was plumb cold.  Warmed up during the day however and tomorrow it is suppose to be close to hot - in the 90s.

Will try and run Betty down sometime tomorrow. Would never call her right now as that would be almost 11 o'clock in her territory. While she and Merle are very nice people and I have met them both I have a hunch I would be pushing my luck a tad to call them now. LOL.

I had warmed over fried cabbage for my dinner - super good!!! In a few will be heading Ricky towards bed - he is so tired. So am I!!

I'm so sorry to hear about Epi's family.  Grateful that the little one is out of ICU.  Epi has a lot on Her plate and I join in your prayers for the family. 

We we are doing ok. Merle had a bit of a computer crisis. He is at a conference in Ohio and hadn't done his research.  Then his computer wouldn't register him. We finally got it straightened out with the help of a few friends   I said next time don't wait so long.  We'll see how much he retains cause he is soon going for a week in Ky.  I think that one we are up to date on.  He likes to wait til the last minute when he is getting ready for a conference call and I like to be all ready to push the button at least 30 minutes ahead.

Glad to see yhou here Betty - we were getting worried about you and Merle. Merle does still stay real busy with that John Deere stuff does he not? Good for him. Sounds like he works hard at it - he still travels a lot doesn't he? That should keep him out of trouble.

Tad chilly this a.m. - Ricky just woke up. I basically NEVER let kids sleep with me - do not like it - but he was playing his IPad - that is such a calming influence for him - and he fell asleep . I was afraid if I had tried to move him he would have woke up - and he would have - and that wold be that for a long time last night. He slept all night long, STAYED on HIS side of the bed and I never knew he was there. Miss Blackie was a bit huffy however as I had to move her around a bit so she would NOT make contact during the night with the little boy. Both critters did well I might add!

I hear ya Betty @yock.  My company partially upgraded it's computer systems.  They never just go all in - they implement everything piece meal.  We upgraded to office 2016 (running on MSN office 2007 operating system).  Well, the licensing for office 2016 is different.  When I log into outlook, it goes through the process of vetting the license, loading the corporate approved profile and then the 'add ins'.   I have to start booting up ahead of conference calls or I will miss the beginning.

Glad to see you are still with us Betty. Why is it that every time I see anything about John Deere I think of Merle. Hmn!

Not going to be as hot as they originally predicted today - only up to about 94 or so, not 100. OK with me. Turned the heat on about an hour ago and the house feels a bit better - always interesting how this deep freeze time comes on quickly and often leaves just as fast.Have a lot of things to get done this morning - am taking the kids to see their Momma Tessa - that in itself is fatiguing. Ricky was a wild one yesterday - oh my goodness and he has his little sister really acting up. She learns fast and her behavior is now bugging me. Use to be so easy to deal with little ones - not these days - they do NOT listen any too well.

Hope all are fine - we need to get all our "old" regulars back here to visit. Miss them all - where did they go.

It's 81 degrees, mostly sunny with a light breeze in my neck of the woods.  I have windows open and the house is airing out.  I don't know how many more moderate days are left before I need to replace the full size screen in the back storm door with the glass insert. 

I went to JCP to return some yoga pants I ordered from dot.com.  Wow, what an experience - their system was messed up big time and the dollar amount due me was not calculating properly.  I still ended up shorted by 1.73, however it wasn't worth me making a federal case out of it, lol.

It was a gorgeous day here today.   Freddie remember my favorite color.   

My neighbor painted some more windows. I'll be glad when they finally get done.   They've got lots of windows. Their yard is full of those Halloween bags filled with leaves.   Then she's got big  planters of mums. I don't know how she  gets done what she does.  It's really quite attractive

I cannot believe it - got almost to 100 again today. Now this is October but this can also be typical of Sou Cal where I live. 

Am super tired - took the two little ones to visit their Mama Tessa - been a super hectic day. At this point I am alone in my house with ONLY Miss Blackie. The little ones are at Sherry and Matt's and I am thankful - Ricky had a bad day as while he loved being with his Mama, he misbehaved really bad. My heart aches for that adorable little boy - he is having so many problems. He did not get to hug his Mama when we left as we had to leave and he decided to toss a tantrum. Sherry and Matt said they would take them for a few days - course they would keep them forever. I am so thankful they help me out when I am ready to drop.

\Davey went to spend the night at Joey's - AFTER he FINALLY took out the trash and garbage. LOL.

Shortly Miss Blackie and I will crawl into bed. House very quiet and I am grateful for that!!!

Well Betty, I know your favorite  color is NOT John Deere green - seems to me it is red
