OMG !! What a Birthday it was !!

A big thanks to everyone for the Happy Birthday wishes yesterday 8/3 and I just have to tell about the biggest surprise of all !! My son ask me over a month ago if he could take me out to dinner for my bd. I said sure. So he and my grandson picked me up and we went downtown to a resturant high up where we could look over to the Mississippi river and the St. Louis Arch. Beautiful !!

We get up to the restaurant, get seated and suddenly from around the corner comes about 10 of my closest church members, several of my sisters and a brother and several of my nieces. They all yelled out SURPRISE !! My son planned a huge surprise party to celebrate my 75 th BD and it was awesome, I cried of course !! Everyone had kept the secret very well

I have never experienced such a wonderful time! He had a yummy BD cake after a delicious dinner, I received BD cards, cash and gift cards.

Now for my other news. My daughter was due for a C-section 8/26, my first grandaughter. She called me @5:15 this morning that her water broke! Long story short, I have a new grandaughter born this morning 4#7 oz, in the neonatal icu because she's early but she is doing well, breathing on her own, cries and appears she's fine. Thank You Lord !!. What a weekend !! I'm exhausted !!
