While I am definitely a fan of hazy, hot and humid and yes, I sit out in it, today here on the eastern shore of MD, even I am saying whoa...it's 🄵 hot!!  At 10 am the temp is already 86, humidity is 92% and the dew point is 82.  That means you sweat as soon as you step outside.

I was sent home to work from home as the administration building a/c went up last night. Walked into my office and all my papers felt like they had been water misted. We are still required to wear masks at work as it is a health care setting, and even my mask was getting droopy!

Ok break over...back to work and wish I was at the šŸ– beach... hot, hot, hot

Our temps here in Chicago haven't been bad--high 80s--but the dewpoint in the low 70s is bad enough.  Can't imagine a dew point of 82.  I could never live in the South!!

We are still humid here in NE PA, however, my 2 new favorite words are COLD FRONT.  One is coming through with storms today so Satan can have his weather back real soon.

Yesterday's breeze was just hot air blowing, right now the breeze is cooler even though the humidity is over 80%.

I'm not an unreasonable woman, I would just love a little moderation with the weather.  There is a happy medium between the Amazon and  glacier.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 LOL!   I love your 2 new favorite words!   You'll likely have those storms with the cold front first (I'm in RI).  Our forecast is for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and into the evening.  I was like AMEN!!!!!   Bring it on.  Temps for the rest of the week low 80's with low humidity, yay!  Fall cannot come fast enough for me, plus I am craving pumpkin coffee Smiley Happy

@CrazyKittyLvr2   I am also in NE Pa.  I can't wait till for the cold front to come through....Yesterday I parked my car in my daughter's driveway while we went shopping for a couple hours in her car....When we got home it was 107 degrees in my car.  šŸ¤¢

Guess I am spoiled with having a garage to get out of the heat....but that Was a breaking point for me.  So looking forward to fall.  I need cool weather ASAP.

@bmorechick ...  I am right outside of Annapolis and totally agree.  Opening the front door feels like someone slapped you in the face ...  I've had enough !!

I'm in east central Pa and it's 92 at the moment and the sky is staring to darken. Maybe we'll get rain, but for some reason it keeps missing us. Although, I woke up during the night and thought I faintly heard rain but didn't feel like getting out of bed to check it.

You don't want to be at the beach.  I am at my beach house in Rehoboth and I went to the beach today.  I had to leave after an hour.  It is 100 degrees with a heat index of 107.  There was no sea breeze.  It was absolutely unbearable. It is supposed to rain tomorrow into Thursday morning after which we will get a break with the temperature and humidy.

Today we got a break from the high heat and humidity....so glad!

We also had a nice much needed rain.

We can finally sit outside, so for dinner we are going to light the outside gas fire pit and have dinner.
