@possummink  I laughed out loud, really, when I read the 'what a dingbat' comment.  I'm looking at snow on the roofs and grass outside of my window.  It probably won't last long which is a good thing as it's falling on yards full of leaves that need to be picked up.

Bernie,   We got snow today too.   It wasn't an all day event, just now and then snowbursts and whiteouts.   It did cover the ground and drive way plus the cars.    I finished digging out the last 6 banana plants this afternoon and can happily say all of the house plants are inside,  safe from the 23 degree temperature we have right now.   

Tomorrow for the wedding it's supposed to be in the 30ies.  Not sure if I'm going to sit outside or watch from the inside.   I hope common sense hits Jillian and she decided to have the ceremony inside.   My brother will probably stay inside.  He's been having some problems with his breathing.  Sure doesn't need any lung irritation from being out in the cold.

Mousie,   I hope you and your home and area are safe from those horrendous wildfires that have started up again in Northern California and also near Los Angeles.   What happened in Paradise, CA is almost unbelieveable with the traffic being so jammed that people had to get out of their cars to escape the fires and that the whole town is mostly destroyed.   Such a tragedy.

The picture of the doggie and kitty snoozing together reminds me of Miss Blackie and Bailey, my beloved Cocker. That cat and dog were bonded. First time I saw Miss Blackie go over to him I was nervous, thought sure there would be trouble. Nope, Baiey appeared to roll his eyes and say with body lanuage, OK, I give up. So funny and so cute.
