[ Edited ]

So.... last night, after my sister left from visiting for a little while, I came upstairs to sit in front of my computer.  As I sat down, I heard something on the roof.  At first I thought it was some kind of noise floating up, as it sometime does, when my neighbor's kids visit her.

So, Grayson was talking and talking so I picked him up and offered him one of my calloused knuckles to stifle him.  I happen to look into the room where Poppi was perched and my old man was looking up at the ceiling.

I thought, oh boy, did something get into the crawlspace?

I put Grayson down, walked out into the rain in the front of the house and looked up - there were 2 ducks on the roof, grooming each other and rough housing.  I yelled up - cut it out.  They ignored me and kept it up for another 5 minutes.  At least I pinpointed what it was.

Mind you, it was night, dark, raining and those ducks still found my house :-)

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

@Bird mama  LOL!  I spent several days last week shooing away deer, and when DH got home last night, there was a doe standing by our driveway, they never give up no matter what we do to try to scare them away, lol.

@Bird mama

What is up with those ducks!  I guess they know that it is safe at your house!

We had snow today and about 1/2 inch stuck to the ground.  As much as I like Winter and snow I am not ready for it.  It could have at least waited until after Thanksgiving...lol.

@possummink

That photo of the cute little piggy sure is cute!!!
