@CalminHeart I see my doctor on Wed, the blood thinner is the only new med and I am sure it is the issue, I know my body and my reactions to things

My sister was sure her blood thinners were causing problems, stopped them, and had a massive stroke 3 months later. She's disabled and requires a conservator. Life as she knew it was over.
How are you sure it's the blood thinners. It could be the valium, combo of valium and benedryl, pain medication, another medication, a food, something you drink, or anything. Some foods aren't fully compatible with some blood thinners.
There are several different blood thinners. Perhaps you just need to change to another.
Given you had bone surgery, why would you risk a clot and death without talking to your specialist first?

I am the OP and will be restarting the blood thinner this morning

@missy mouse wrote:If you are taking a blood thinner for a heart problem such as A fib you should not go off the blood thinner. The pain you are having is probably an orthopedic problem. My friend had a hip replacement last summer and was walking well after 3 weeks. If you are still using a walker this long after hip replacement the Orthopaedic doctor needs to be seen.
@missy mouse @I am still oxox I definitely agree. There's no reason to suffer this long and have to take meds to sleep, too.

@I am still oxox So sorry you have all these issues--and my prayers and good thoughts for you. Please don't do anything without a call to the dr's office first? Meds may have implications we might not be aware of--and it's a complicated world!
Lots of people are on your side here--and best of wishes and blessings to you! And that's good medicine you don't have to worry about because we know it works. ![]()
