Any hack to fix this issue or is zipper replacement the only option?
Zipper works well..pants are not too tight. I could always resort to the safety pin option as plan B....just hate that☹️

Good luck. I've have the same problems with some of my skirts. Didn't zippers used to come with a "lock" device?

No fix. I'd return or exchange them. This would be too frustrating for life of a pair of jeans.

If they are brand new jeans, I would just return them. I wouldnt resort to tricks and hacks for new jeans. If they are old jeans, I'd use a tiny safety pin to hold the zipper or save them for winter jeans when I could wear a big bulky sweater with them. I could leave the zipper undone and it would not show.

@ItsME I bought them on a Evine....really cute jeans...but not worth the $$ to return and I am past the 30 day return time
. I will ask at my dry cleaners what they would charge. If it is under $20 I might do it.
thanks anyway!

To lock: Zipper all the up as far as it will go. Move ONLY the flat part of the zipper down against your body.
If the above does not work, send your jeans back.

@SeaMaiden. Try pulling the tab up then press down on it. They used to make some zippers that you had to "lock" this way.

@Kachina624 Yes....have done that. But the zipper still comes down ☹️

Get a small rubber band. Attach it to the hole in the zipper pull, and create a loop of the other end. Zip up. Hook the loop over the button on the waist band. It will keep up your zipper, and be easy to remove when nature calls.
