New (CREEPY LOOKING) Emogies 😜

My Amazon tablet updated again, and the appearance of the emogies has changed, and not in a good way.

I find the new appearances of the emogie faces to be kinda scary, especially the happy, smiling ones. They look downright creepy.

Guess I won't be using too many happy faces any more.

Don't know if I'm spelling emogie right.

I think it’s great that the new ones change skin color if you tap them!

But, be careful, you can’t change them but once, at least I can’t.

It's important to keep in mind that the way we see emojis on our device or on certain platforms may be different from the way others with other devices or platforms see them.

The Unicode is standardized up to a point, but leaves the various developers with wiggle room to slightly modify them -- now and then it even seems to change the overall message conveyed.

@freakygirl, the ones on my tablet used to be cute, and I enjoyed using them.

Now they're as creepy looking as the ones on the QVC board, (yes @hopi).
