@YorkieonmyPillow

That would be me but I'd have to go 1,500 miles!

I shared the pic with my son (gd dad) he said "that's you!"

Thanks for the laugh

Adorable and hilarious, @YorkieonmyPillow!!

If my two grands didn't live locally, it would be me, too.

No denying! 💜

It would crush me, it would break my heart if my grandbabies lived far away from me.  I need to be hands on Nana, I need them in my life and I think they need that too.  I don't know what I would do if one of my girls packed up and moved 1000 miles away.

Get a grip, have you ever heard of transportation? You remind us everyday that you are only 57, I assume you can drive or fly.

I can't drive or fly from MA to Chicago or Atlanta to take the kids to McDonald's and the park on Saturday morning!!!!   I can't drive or fly 1000 miles to cuddle on the couch with them and have Thursday night movie nights.  We all define "family" in our way, visiting once or twice a year isn't the type of relationship I would want with my grandchildren.  Sure, I'd make do and adjust if I had to but it certainly isn't what I would want.

LOL  Funny pic. I wonder what's really going on there?!

I am thankful every day that my grandson lives around the corner.  He is the light of my life and I'm grateful that I get to see him whenever I want.

I get it! My grandchildren all live far from me but my grandson just moved to the northeast for a new job. We’ll be seeing more of him now and that is good news. I miss all my grandkids.

This Nana travels quite a bit to see her far away grandchildren.  (In a Suburban, not a scooter.)

We've flown in to trick or treat with them, I've taken off on a several hundred mile journey to stay with them when they had the flu (this year).

We bought another summer home to be closer to them and closer for them to travel to us.

I have grandchildren close by and love that I can see them all the time.

But I'd say I'm just a close to my others, even though we live far away.

Next year will be a challenge because we'll be on the west coast all winter and they are all on the east coast.  Already figuring out a huge get together at Disneyland in February when they are all on their week long winter break.

This Nana would walk to them, if I had no other way to get there.
