@house_cat

Thank you for starting this interesting thread.

Born the year of the Tiger, who knows?  Many surgeries ago I was often told I moved like a cat.  Go figure.

But in my heart I am a Phoenix in terms of my life, and a search and rescue dog for others.

I have always been fond of pigs.

Pigs are very smart.  I’ve read that pigs are smarter than dogs, and can be as loyal a pet as any dog.   We never made pets of the animals we raised for food, so our pigs never had cutesy names, but we often called them Big/Little Boy or Big/Little Girl, and they always seemed to respond to us when we called them by name.

Pigs are pretty clean animals, and are easily trained.   While their hide may be thick and tough, bugs do bite them, and they do sunburn, which is why they like to wallow in mud to coat and protect their skin.

@RedTop

Pigs are good!  🐽

The reason I don’t eat bacon, or any other meat.
