We had a chilly, but crisp start to our day in NC. I was happy to see my plants survived.

Healing thoughts for those who have experienced great loss and agony this past week.  I am thinking, in particular, of the parents, family and friends of those students murdered at the University of Virginia and the University of Idaho.  The horror of it all is unfathomable.

May everyone be safe and experience peace, health and joy.  HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!

Good Shabbos, happy weekend! 

@Shanus  thank you for this week's peaceful thread. 

As @golding76  said, my thoughts are with those affected by the gun violence on those two campuses and everywhere else. 

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday.   If you are missing someone at your table, I hope your memories of previous Thanksgivings put a smile on your face. 

We're entertaining family here, so I'll be busy cooking and setting up. I LOVE to entertain, so I'm looking forward to this week...........and all the leftovers.  

For anyone traveling, safe travels. 

For anyone in the path of the monster storm in the Buffalo area and east of Lake Ontario, stay safe, dry and warm. 

Today is Apple Cider Day.
