NO PLANS THIS WEEKEND

Looks like it is going to be a quiet weekend for me.My grandson goes home today after school and both my jobs are done until Monday(MY birthday is Monday,but I'm going to work anyway)So I guess I will do a little laundry,get my nails done,and read.How does this sound to yall? BORING I KNOW!

Oh, I wish. Sat we start around 7:30 to travel to 2 softball games for our granddaughter, then get in the car to go to our grandson's football game. Then we will come home and spend time with a friend who's husband is in end stage heart failure.

I think we will have free time on Sunday. Today is the first day in a week I've been home. I never dreamt retirement would be this busy.

No plans really--altho here near Seattle, the weather is going to be amazing--sunny and in the mid 60's so DD and I will get out and walk around. Have our usual weekend jaunt to town on some errands.

After a few months not really doing much, we head out Sunday for our first bus trip of the year to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Sounds great to me. I'm retired but I treasure my weekends when I can do whatever I want or nothing at all. No weekend plans. In MA this is a long holiday weekend. Monday is Patriot's Day and the Boston Marathon. Kids are off school all next week. I'll probably have all the grands over for a sleepover and take them somewhere fun.

For me, I would love NOTHING to do this weekend...which is my plan.

I am semi retired but worked every day this week at our business....I want to sleep in on Saturday, get around at my leisure not up and out the door at 8:00 am
