@Sooner

I can sure understand your husband being happy to go to pills. Is he on thinners like Coumadin/Warfarin now?

Guess we know who's the strong one in your house!  Stay well now,

I got mine at Costco.   It did not hurt and no sore arm.

Re: My shoulder is sore from flu shot

Your insurance is billed. The vast majority of insurances cover the shots.

If you are Medicare, the shots are free.

Re: My shoulder is sore from flu shot

I usually get very sick after I get the flu shot so I hadn’t gotten it in a few years but my family wanted me to get it this year and to my surprise, the nurse was very good. I didn’t feel any pain and didn’t get sick.

So?

By the way, lose the caps. On social media it's considered shouting and I don't think anyone is in the mood to be yelled at.

That was really unkind.  Replying "So?" to her comment has no place on forums.  She's sharing info about herself just as many other posters here are doing.

I agree that no one is in the mood to be yelled at.  But no one is in the mood to be scolded and reprimanded in such an unkind manner either.  "Lose the caps" is not the way to gently tell someone (who very well may not know) that all caps is considered shouting.

Caps to me are for those may have trouble seeing smaller print.  If I can't hear yelling, it's not yelling to me.

Re: My shoulder is sore from flu shot

Walgreens and Wal-Mart ran out of the Senior vaccine.  I was told it was on order. I will try again this week. We have a retired, older population living in the area.

My GF got hers two weeks ago and complained about her arm was sore.

@Solar Is My Name No Publix in my area but I got my flu shot at Acme Markets and they give you a 10% off coupon towards purchases there and it is good until the end of the year.
