Among Friends

The first post on my FB feed was from a friend and former co worker;  her husband (52 yrs old) died as he was being transported to hospital last night.  He had a rocky year with extensive heart issues.  They purchased a home last year (I hope they had some kind of life insurance but they were still young and money was tight....).  My DH has had many life threatening issues during our 35 year marriage so this hits particularly close to home.

Very sad news. 😔 And to pass at the holiday time of year can be especially sad for the family. My heart goes out to them.

So sad... many challenges...  fifty-two is young, a new home to consider, during the holidays and most of all their lost future together.  I hope that she has a spiritual  base and a family that can help her through this.  I know you will lend an ear when she needs to talk.

On FB she has received over 200 responses this morning.  I live out of state so I'm sending a WM gift card and flowers. Since she is on a military base, I feel she will get a lot of leave donations (which should help with this as well as all the leave she has had to take in last six months).

@patbz So sorry for your friend, he was so young. Healing prayers for her and the family.

Patbz tell her to see the Navy Marine corp relief society. I use to work for them. MY husband is retired navy. I know air force also has one of this organizations. they will help in a time of need. they are a great group of people and they do work with  you and for you and help you.
